Fairmont Original Bath House

Old Bathhouse, Fairmont Resort Road, Fairmont Hot Springs, BC, Canada

The Original Bath House at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in BC is a longstanding stone structure designed to catch the hot spring runoff into a couple small baths to use for rest and relaxation. These baths were originally designed by natives hundreds of years ago and only consisted of the basins themself. As this building became known as a historic site, a structure was erected overtop to protect the original construction. The site is completely free to visit and is easily accessible from a side parking lot within the resort.
