The Kaleden Hotel Park is a historic site and landmark in the small town of Kaleden, BC located in the South Okanagan. The Kaleden Hotel has been standing since its original construction back in 1911, however, the actual life of the hotel was extremely shortlived. In 1914 the First World War inevitably forced the closure of this luxurious hotel, and it remained vacant for many years. In the late 1930s, the hotel was sold and stripped of all its valuable materials, leaving nothing behind but an empty shell of a hotel. Finally, back in 1979, the RDOS purchased the hotel and land to develop the current Kaleden Hotel Park.
